Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data claudecodexplugins.com("we", "us") collects, why we collect it, and your rights. We try to keep this short and honest.

1. What we collect

• Listing data you submit: plugin name, tagline, description, install command, repository URL, tags, and your contact email. This is public on your listing (except the email).
• Payment data: we use Stripe to process payments. We do not see or store your full card number. Stripe shares with us a customer ID, last 4 digits, country, and billing email for tax and receipts.
• Usage data: aggregated, non-identifying counts of plugin views, copies, and clicks. We use this to rank listings.
• Logs: standard server logs (IP, user agent, requested URL, timestamp) retained for up to 30 days for security and abuse prevention.

2. What we do not collect

We do not use third-party advertising trackers. We do not sell personal data. We do not build cross-site profiles.

3. Why we process this data

• To display your listing and process your subscription (contract).
• To send transactional emails — receipts, renewal notices, listing status (contract).
• To rank, search, and analyse directory usage (legitimate interest).
• To meet legal and tax obligations.

4. Sub-processors

We share data with these providers only as needed to run the service:

• Vercel — hosting and edge delivery.
• Stripe — payment processing.
• Hetzner — Postgres database hosting (EU).
• An email provider for transactional mail (e.g. Resend or similar).

5. Retention

Listing data is retained while your listing is active and for up to 12 months after cancellation. Payment records are retained for at least 7 years to meet tax law. Server logs are retained up to 30 days.

6. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction (GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA, etc.), you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete the personal data we hold about you, to object to processing, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise any of these rights, email support@claudecodexplugins.com from the address on file. We respond within 30 days.

7. Cookies

We use a small number of strictly-necessary cookies (e.g. a CSRF token, a Stripe session cookie during checkout). We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

8. Children

The Site is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

9. International transfers

Data may be processed in the EU and the US by our sub-processors. Where required, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent transfer mechanisms.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes are reflected in the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, communicated by email to listing owners.
