Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of claudecodexplugins.com(the "Site"), a directory that lists community plugins for Claude Code and OpenAI Codex. By using the Site or submitting a listing, you agree to these Terms.

1. The service

We operate a paid directory. Anyone may browse listings for free. Plugin authors may submit a listing for a recurring fee of $25 per year. We do not host, distribute, or execute plugin code — listings link out to third-party source repositories (such as GitHub) and install commands the author provides.

2. Submissions and listings

  • You may only submit plugins you own or have written permission to list. You retain ownership of your plugin and any content you submit.
  • By submitting, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, reproduce, and distribute the submitted name, tagline, description, install command, tags, and repository URL on the Site and in related marketing surfaces.
  • We reserve the right to refuse, edit, or remove any listing at our sole discretion — for example, if it is misleading, infringing, malicious, illegal, or violates these Terms. Removal for cause is not refundable.
  • Ranking and ordering are decided by us based on copies, clicks, recency, and editorial judgement. Paying does not guarantee placement.

3. Payment, renewal, and refunds

  • Payments are processed by Stripe. Listings auto-renew annually at $25 unless cancelled.
  • You may cancel at any time. On cancellation, your listing remains active until the end of the paid period and then deactivates.
  • We offer a refund within 14 days of the initial purchase if your listing has not yet been approved or published. After publication, fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
  • Prices may change with at least 30 days' notice before your next renewal.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Submit plugins that contain malware, credential harvesters, or unlawful content.
  • Misrepresent authorship, identity, or affiliation with Anthropic or OpenAI.
  • Scrape, mirror, or republish the Site's catalogue in bulk without written permission.
  • Interfere with the Site's operation, security, or other users.

5. Third-party links and plugins

The Site links to third-party repositories and install commands. We do not author, endorse, audit, or warrant any listed plugin. You install and run third-party code at your own risk and subject to that plugin's own licence and terms.

6. Trademarks

"Claude" and "Claude Code" are trademarks of Anthropic, PBC. "OpenAI" and "Codex" are trademarks of OpenAI. We are an independent directory and are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Anthropic or OpenAI.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The Site is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event will we be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Site. Our aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Site shall not exceed the greater of (a) the fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim or (b) US$100.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Site at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access and remove listings if you breach these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by updating the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, by email to listing owners. Continued use after a change means you accept the revised Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the operator's country of residence, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in that jurisdiction.
